1995 – Graduated from the Medical Faculty of Hacettepe University in Ankara
1995-2001 – He completed his postgraduate studies at the Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Faculty of Medicine, Hacettepe University.
2006 he received a three-month EURAPS scholarship for young plastic surgeons, trained at the Technical University of Munich Bogenhausen in Germany.
2006 – Omer Ozkan received the title of Associate Professor.
2011 – He received the title of Associate Professor at the Institute of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery of Akdeniz University.
Areas of interest include facial and body surgery, breast reconstruction, tissue repair, facial paralysis muscle repair, mandibular reconstruction and urogenital surgery.
September 25, 2010 He performed the first in Turkey and the 15th in the world transplantation of both hands.
August 8, 2011 He led the team that performed the world’s first cadaver uterus transplant.
2013 He performed the first face transplant in Turkey.
Prof. Dr. Ömer Ozkan is a lecturer at Akdeniz University of Antalya, Department of Aesthetic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
