  Scientific activities and publications

• Mehmet Emre Yegin is the author of more than 30 scientific papers published in prestigious journals such as Journal of Craniofacial Surgery, Microsurgery and European Journal of Plastic Surgery.
• He is an active researcher in the field of plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgery, including the topic of reconstruction of the tongue and inner mouth using free flaps, as well as the study of the effects of various substances on the survival of fat grafts. His work also addresses new treatments for melanoma and peripheral nerve disease. Dr. Yegin has published in studies on the reconstruction of skin defects and the application of microvascular surgery, as well as on the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on surgical practice.
• Mehmet Emre Yegin actively participates in international scientific congresses, presenting his work at events such as ISMS Congress 2018, APFSRM Congress, and the Turkish National Congress of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery.
