Liv Istinye Topkapi University Hospital

On Tuesday Dr. Salih Aydın performed my septorhinoplasty. First of all, if anyone is considering nose surgery, you can put yourself in the hands of Dr. Salih and his team with your eyes closed. The doctor worked so beautifully and meticulously that I had no bruises and the swelling was almost unnoticeable. I would also like to give special thanks to the nurses Eray and Mahide, who took care of me on the 5th floor. They looked after me day and night like a baby, even rinsed my nose with their own hands, and most importantly, despite working with so many people, they always patiently kept their smiles. They are extremely good at their job. My reason for taking off one point is the children on the inpatient floors run around very noisily even at night. The hospital should develop a policy against this and take measures. After all, this is a hospital and people need rest. Children screaming and running through the corridors both at night and in the morning is not very positive for people who need to rest. Besides this, if anyone is going to be admitted to the hospital — the cafeteria is only open during the day. This too is not befitting a hospital; after all, it is not a bank branch, and people are not there from 9 to 5. Some come at night, some get hospitalized. There may be someone who needs to eat and drink something, so there should be a place open 24/7, because this is a hospital that works 24/7 😀. 22/04/2026   My brother had stomach reduction surgery. We stayed on the 5th floor and were very pleased with the nurses. Everyone was attentive and very sincere. Since it was cold at night (the air conditioner was broken), nurse Gülnova covered me up, and in the morning — her attentiveness made us very happy. Personally, we received attention and care from everyone. The food was excellent, extremely delicious, and different dishes came every day. Now let us move on to the points we were not satisfied with... The ventilation was broken, and we were usually cold. On the first day there was a smell of GREASE (from the kitchen) coming from the ventilation. Since there was no hot water in the tap, I had to perform ablution with cold water. Even though I wrote down my name for the suhoor breakfast to be brought to the room, it never came on any day. I had to go and tell them separately and remind them. On the pillows, even though they were new, unfortunately. Later I asked for new ones, and after 3 reminders they brought new ones in 3 hours. I hope the problems we experienced will not be experienced by other patients and their companions in the future. 14/04/2026   My name is Anzhelika Mazanova. I came to Istanbul for the first time on January 15. On the 16th I had plastic surgery (intimate aesthetics). My surgery was performed by Dr. Emine Demir. I want to express my gratitude both to the doctor and her team (Ceren Karatepe, Yaprak Karaca and Bora Bilak). Many thanks also to the anesthesiologist Hülya Şahin Emektar. I trusted these people, and they did not let me down. I appreciate how caring and conscientious they were. The hospital is beautiful and very modern. I liked it, and its appearance perfectly matches my taste. The hospital should be proud to have this group of staff working for it. 22/02/2026   I received service at the ENT department, and I wish I hadn't. At first they shower you with flattery, flattery upon flattery, to steer you there. But after the surgery they don't even consider you a human being — no follow-up, no attention. A complete disappointment, this hospital. Their egos have shot up to the ceiling, unfortunately.
