- Glad to see you, Ercan. Tell me about yourself, please. How many years have you been working as a plastic surgeon, what operations do you perform?
Good afternoon, Maria. I have been a plastic surgeon for 29 years. The scope of my professional activity covers plastic and reconstructive surgery, and aesthetic medicine. - Tell us a little about the VAZER method.
We carry out all manipulations through minimal incisions – up to 1 cm in the desired area. They can rather be called not cuts, but punctures. We introduce thin cannulas into them, through which we pump out the fat. This helps to avoid unnecessary tissue trauma and patients recover faster. This is a very gentle procedure, after which our patients leave the clinic the next day.
- In what places do you make punctures?
I try to make punctures in inconspicuous places so that after the stitches have healed, no scars can be seen. For example, when I remove fat from the abdomen and sides, I do it in the bikini area. After healing, they are not visible.
- Is it true that fat can return after liposuction? What recommendations can you give?
If the patient does not adhere to nutritional recommendations and not be physically active, then it can happen. But I always tell all my patients: “Lipo is your key to health and beauty. I gave it to you. Then you have to keep working on it.”
