Hello Maria, it’s very nice that you’ve come. I have been doing hair transplantation for over 20 years. During this time, I managed to do over 8,000 successful procedures. About Hair Transplant Surgery

Hair transplantation is performed by 2 methods: FUE and FUT. I do both. Each of them has its own advantages and disadvantages. Therefore, I calculate the amount of patient’s hair that can be transplanted in one procedure, and then together we make a decision on the choice of method.
- It turns out that the FUT method, although earlier, is still relevant?
I find FUT to be a very effective method for those patients who don’t have enough donor hair. With this technique, about 90% of patients have the opportunity to get thick and beautiful hair.

I always ask patients to be careful at least during the first 2 weeks after surgery. The fact is that immediately after transplantation, donor hair is very sensitive and highly susceptible to trauma. On the second day, we teach our patients how to properly wash their hair and take care of their hair. I would also add that you should not get involved in weight lifting and active sports in the first 10-14 days. Then everything is possible.
- Doctor, when can patients return to their normal lives?
Already on the second day, patients can lead a normal life: drive a car, work, and do household chores. There are no restrictions.

Patients will be able to admire beautiful thick hair in a year.
- Are there cases when the transplanted hair can fall out? And if so, how likely is a reoperation?
Maria, after hair transplantation, 10% of donor grafts fall out. This is a natural process. We take this into account, so we transplant hair with “plenty to spare” so that after falling out they are enough. But this procedure will save the patient for the rest of his life from all the problems associated with baldness.
